I have Norton 360 installed on 3 computers, and have been able to upgrade to Version 2 on two computers. The last computer continues to give me an installation error, 9999,171 and aborts the installation process. Symantec tech support has taken ahold of my computer numerous times and cannot solve the problem. I have uninstalled and attempted to reinstall probably 15-20 times, with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you removed it with the removal tool?
Try this ...Run the removal tool. REBOOT after running... Then REBOOT again!
Download and run the Norton Removal Tool

How do I get help? Who is helping me?

Hi Judy,
This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team responding to your posting.
As boopme has suggested, please download the Norton Removal Tool from the link he provided. Run the tool and then restart your computer. Log back in to Windows, run the tool again, and then restart your computer the second time.
Next, make sure that your internet connection is workking properly, and then reinstall Norton 360 2.0. During the installation process, LiveUpdate will download and install the latest program and definition files for Norton 360 2.0.
After the installation is complete, please perform a "Comprehensive Scan" on your computer to make sure there are no infections.
Thank you,
Mike
