no no no Like when I click on the desktop for example and i dnt let go and i drag a sdotted square/rect comes that is now thicker and i want it to be its orig siz "skinny"

When did you notice the change from thin to thick? Have you added any new software or updates? Did you maybe add a new desktop theme? Sometimes desktop themes can change these simple things.

I added an msstyles theme but when I restore to defaults it is still there

You might try this and see if it helps. Click Start/Control Panel/Printers and other Hardware/Mouse/Pointers/ and make sure it is set to Windows Default there. If it is set to default, the only other place I can think to look would be in the Appearance and Themes area.
