I do have one more, is it normal for an icon to be left on my desktop with everyone that I download, and would it be safe to delete them?

The icons are all on the left side, but when I download the updates it also leaves an icon of what I had just installed, because I can click on it and it will download the update again.

Hi
Did you change anything or install any new software or program(s) before this problem started?
What are the updates that you are installing?

I have did some research and many people said they fixed their promblem by:
Some have reported that simply re-registering the MSXML3.DLL seems to fix the problem.
1. Click Start.
2. Choose Run.
3. In the Run box, type: regsvr32 MSXML3.DLL
Press okay
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsg...f1a5fd6&p=1

Try installing the updates again and see if it works now.
