Hi folk's
Have been trying to download xp service pack 3 using dialup,but this keeps timing out !! Can anyone tell me if there is
a way of using Int/explorer download to pick up where it left off, like the download manager's do ?

I'm not aware of any way to make IE work like that. You can download the ISO (CD image file) of SP3 here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...50-fe22559d164e

You can use a download manager for it, but it's going to be a long download on dial-up. Microsoft had a program where they would mail you the SP2 CD for only the cost of shipping, but I don't know if they're doing it for SP3.

about 20 min on cable, judging by what firefox is telling me, I doubted that it would take an hour like MS said (Ubuntu Studio DVD's dont take me that long)
