I have been having problems installing software after it downloads. I have dial up service and when I try to install Aim or other software after it downloads it tells me it can't finish installing because there is no connection event hough I am connected. My ISP has no idea what is going on. I think its the ISP and not the internet explorer. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

sometimes when i use Internet explorer{for the widows update only} it will tell me that i'm offline too. in Internet explorer go to file and make sure working offline is unchecked and connect again. i also have dial-up.
