Senior Member Group: Members Posts: 489 Joined: 6-August 06 From: USA Member No.: 79,661	So I've recently upgraded to ubuntu 8.04 (server edition) and until recently I've only been running an FTP server, and a small game server. How ever I'd like to turn this machine into a streaming media server, in hopes of freeing up 20 gigs on my personal PC. What apps should I be looking at? Pretty simple set up, but i'm already running Apache and MySQL. http://www.ampache.org/ Don't open any ports on your router if you want to keep it local.
