Dear All,
My operating system is Vista Home Premium, my PC came with it ready installed and it didn't come with installation disks.
For what seems like an eternity now I've been unable to install update KB938371, which I need to, apparently, before I can proceed with SP1, and of course I also need to load KB937287 but only following KB938371. Every time it gets to installing I get the following error message. Error Code 800B0100 WindowsUpdate_dt000. I've looked for these error codes and haven't come up with particularly useful to date. I would be very much obliged with any help. I'm really fed up with it. Thanks in anticipation of a solution, I hope!

Have you tried scanning for malware, which might be preventing you from updating?

Also try downloading the file manually from Microsoft's site here:

As a last resort you could give WURT a try. Get it here-
