I'm getting a Velocity Micro with the following specs. What do you think of it? That looks really nice. One thing you should know is if your running a 32-bit OS, your total memory will be less then 4gb. It will more likely only appear as 3.5gb or less. Thats still a lot of memory though, and you probably won't notice the difference.

I'm going to be using a Windows XP Pro SP2 on it. I could've gotten Vista on it, but I'd rather not get Vista til all the glitches are worked out with that OS...xD; (I'll eventually upgrade to it..Just not for now.) A couple of friends of mine recently had to reformat and downgrade to XP because Vista was giving them a lot of problems. @w@;
Good to hear that the ram difference will be barely noticeable though. A person on another board (not bleepingcomputer's forums) said that the ram in this model might end up causing "bottlenecking" with the computer. Oo; Not sure if that person has a high or low technical amount of experience, but I figured that I should look into it anyway...^^; This post has been edited by TTC: May 11 2008, 07:10 PM |

Im personally not fond of hitachi hdd i personally would pick a western digital or seagate but its up to you. Besides that it looks good
