Hey smile.gif

My brother just bought a computer and had a friend re-install XP on it. Bought it home and couldn't connect to the internet. We are using ADSL and plugging it in to the Ethernet port at the back of the laptop to try connect. Normally connecting it in would make it on the internet but not for this sad.gif . Basically I want it to connect like a LAN connection but there is no LAN connection showing up in the network connections crazy.gif

What should I do?

By the way...If I choose repair it says TCP/IP is not available.

It shows up as 1394 Net Adapter.

It is a Toshiba Satellite A100 and I can't find the drivers on the Toshiba site sad.gif
