If Windows were a religion, I would be an atheist.

*nix (currently Ubuntu, but I do play in BSD and other Linux Distros) so according to the masses I'm in a cult (or a satanist if you're Bill Gates)

Windows is the State Religion. People use it because it's "what everyone else does" and using something else might get you labeled a "radical" or "dangerous fringe element." Led by Pope Bill I.
Unix is the religion of the ancients, upon which all other religions have built. Led by Bishops Ken, Dennis, and Douglas. Linux is a modern incarnation of the ancient religion, formed after the schism of 1990 over what to feed the hamster. Led by Keeper of the Hamster Linus I. BSD is the other half of the schism of 1990. Led by Grand Marshal of the Hamster Bill Joy. MacOS wants to be the State Religion, even though at its core it's still BSD. Only works in certain, specially designed, chapels. Led by Supreme Pontiff Steve I. DOS is a dead religion that was once the State Religion. In the beginning, Windows was only a branch of this faith; it has now been superseded by Windows as the Official Faith. Led bya non-corporeal condensation of evil, named "Happy."
