Hi all,

Hope this is in right section


My CD/DVD Burner/reader will Read CD's But will NOT BURN cd's or DVD's

How can I fix this? I can watch movies and play music but it wont let me burn anything and it wont auto load when I put dvd/cd in the drive. Any help would be great

Hi Will08, and welcome to BleepingComputer.

What program are you using to burn the CDs and DVDs?

Have you changed brands of media?

Do you see any errors in the Device Manager when you expand the tree (click on the + in the little box) of the DVD/CD-ROM drives.

Start> right click on My Computer> Manage> Device Manager.
