I am trying to access sites like unrealtournament3.com, fileplanet.com, ea.com and none of them connect. The thing is, my housemate is connected to the same modem but with a wireless connection, and he can view all these sites just fine. I also had a problem a little while ago when i had a few viruses infecting my computer, and i couldn't access Google at all.

Can anyone help?

1. You have to rule out infection.

2. Test SSL connection: Click on the link just to see if you get connected to this site. This is a test to see if you can access the secure SSL sites.http://www.microsoft.com/en/us/default.aspx

If you don't get connected try this first: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic41067.html

3. Download Dial-a-fix from djlizard.net

To repaire problems with your system:
Unzip the file and doubleclick Dial-a-fix.exe to start the program.
Press double green checkmark - "Check all"- to turn everything on.
Press "GO" to start processing all checkmarked items.

REBOOT your computer afterwards, important.

Ok thanks for the reply, I will go through the checklist:

- My computer isnt infected anymore
- I can connect to the Microsoft SSL website
- I have already tried everything in that forum
- And i im unable to connect to the Dial-a-fix download!

Would you please be able to send it to my email - it would be greatly appreciated! ..
