I am getting the following two error messages when i start my windows vista home premium OS. could not load or run "c:\Windows\inf\other.exe". Make sure that the file exists in the registry or remove references from registry. could not load or run "c:\Windows\system32\config\Win.exe".Make sure that the file exists in the registry or remove references from registry. Have you recently removed viruses or malware from your system? If so, this is likely to be something that was leftover from an incomplete removal.
Download and install Autoruns ( Free at: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/bb963902.aspx ) In the "Everything" tab, scroll down the "Image Name" column until you find both of the items that you've mentioned above. Remove the checkmarks that are on the left side of the page (for those items). Reboot to see if you've fixed it. -------------------- - John
