Hello there!

I've had a problem with my Vista Home Premium Hp Pavillion dv6000 Laptop for a few weeks now.My DVD/CD-ROM drive keep disappearing when i insert a dvd or cd.
All i do is restart and boot to safe mode and it comes back on,

pls can anyone help me don't know what the problem is and it's fraustating each time i try to access files on my cd's and dvd's
could it be a hardware problem or from the vista OS
