Pc Wont Start Up (some Times) not for the last 4 days

For the last few months my pc has been "moody" when i try to turn it on. sometime it fries up no prob other times it take several trys (sometimes 10 or more) now i get nothing except a littler filcker from the LEDs on the fans and no beeps. but the power led on the MB is on and does not turn off(unless i kill the power to the whole pc Duhh).
Any thoughts?
at this point im dreading having to Repalce the MB but i frear that is the prob

why won't my laptop work?
Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

i replaced the power supply and the same thing happend

Did you use the new power cord that came with your power supply or just keep the old one connected? If you didn't use the new one, try the new power supply and power cord.

Make sure you turned the switch on in the back of the unit. I've done that a few times
Most newer power supplies have a reset, when you unplug it and turn the switch in the back off than back on it will reset. That would mean a possible short some where
