I've just got my new tiscali adsl connection and have set up the siemens gigaset se587 router. It's working fine on my laptops (except my asus eee) but not my PC.

My PC is set up in our study and so far I've already updated the driver on the wireless dongle but it hasn't made a huge amount of difference. On the windows wireless network connections window, our network is being picked up as existing and having an excellent signal but it's either hanging on "waiting for the network" or it connects with limited or no connectivity.

The results that I get from my ipconfig are:

Windows IP Configuration

Host Name..........................................: rab
Primary DNS Suffix..............................:
Node Type...........................................: unknown
IP Routing Enabled...............................: No
WINS Proxy Enabled.............................: No

Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection

Media State..........................................: Media disconnected
Description...........................................: Realtek RTL8187 Wireless 802.11g 54mbps usb 2.0 Network adapter
Physical Addres.....................................: 00-18-E7-1A-AF-08

Any help would be great. Thanks! smile.gif
