How do you connect to the internet?
Cable modem, dial up, DSL?
Do you use a router?
Please provide more info.

Adsl a company called talktalk, I spoke to them and they said they dont block PtoP.
Then I read their "fair usage policy" and it says they restrict bandwith in peak times on PtoP? which to me means they block it!

4.1 Computer name HPPAV
4.2 DNS name HPPAV
4.3 Domain -
4.4 Workgroup -
4.5 User name SYSTEM
4.6 DNS servers -
4.7 TCPIP addresses 192.168.1.3
2.0.0.0
4.8 Proxy configuration
4.8.1 Proxy enabled false
4.8.2 Proxy address -
4.8.3 Proxy automatic configuration address -
4.8.4 Bypass proxy for local addresses true
4.8.5 Local addresses to bypass 127.0.0.1;localhost
So this is all I have from my ISP,I only download music.mostly old C/W no movies and no programs.
I have Avast anti virus and a squared for trojans/ad ware.both good. I did have cable but moved and cant get it here. I have about 200 songs collected over 10 years so I am not a heavy user.I guess I need a new ISP.
Many thanks for your reply, I think I have a router on the modem Talk talk suplied

Are you saying the program shows the firewall icon?
Does the program still work?
Mine shows that i am firewalled, but still functions as it should.

Recent AVAST! uses proxy.
I would check Avast forums for specific advice about settings.
