Sun Java Problem

For some reason every time I go to a website that uses sun Java, my browser freezes on me and I have to restart it. Why is this? I never had this problem in the past. I am using Firefox and I have the most up to date version of Java.

I do not think reinstalling my java will help me, but I guess I should try.

Sometimes a file can become corrupted and all you can do is reinstall it.
