Hi there I am new on here and need some assistance!
My son tried downloading sp1 on vista and the computer hung as he was doing it. Now when you switch the computer on it gets to the screen where there is last known config, safe mode etc, but if you pick last known config it does the green loading bar and then blue screens and restarts itself. I have tried booting from disk and it says loadin files, then it come ups with A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer, with stop 0x0000C1F5, and it also won't let me go into safe mode or last config. Can anyone please advise on what I can do to get the computer actually working.

Many thanks
Mitch
