"Windows Installer Service could not be accessed.... I've tried everything Microsoft has suggested and not even Windows updates will install on the computer. Anyone has any ideas as to how I can fix this without reformating the hard drive? |

This isn't really a programming issue, so I am moving this to a more appropriate section (as soon as I know which one applies)
When you say you have tried everything Microsoft suggested, does that mean you looked on some websites, called customer service, etc? Are you getting any error codes? What is the exact error message? How about the version of Windows that you are using? -------------------- |
