Winhlp32.exe Doesn't Help Me View Help

I recently installed a blackjack program that uses the type of Help files that are no longer supported in Vista. The solution to this is supposed to be to download winhlp32.exe, which I did. But I still can't view the Help. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the blackjack program, but that didn't help. There's probably something simple that I'm not understanding, but I have no idea what to try next.
