Msconfig Startup V Services You guys have probably answered this alot

Hello All,

While the Startup tab in MSConfig makes total sense to me, the options under Services do not. By selecting or unselecting an application under Services what exactly am I doing? :thumbsup:

You will kill that application. Msconfig is a tool used for testing. If you want something to stop items in the long term, you'd be better off using Microsoft's Autoruns or Codestuff Starter Which is a little more user-friendly

Well, not exactly kill the application, but when you uncheck a service in MSconfig, it sets it to disabled so it wont start on next reboot.
