I have a Toshiba A135-S4517 laptop that came with Vista Home Premium .I purchased a Microsoft Webcam which came with software following instructions installing software ,installation goes fine ,but when you plug Webcam into USB Port "BANG" "B.S.O.D." I am somewhat proficient with computers but I NEED HELP .
Where do I start? what could be wrong? I have had other webcams working on this computer could this be a problem conflicting drivers where do I look?
