Just thought I'd post a hasty comment re this utility at http://www.eventlogxp.com/.
Since many posters don't seem to know how to avoid scrolling through Event Viewer and finding key, informative errors...this may be useful to some of us.
Through the use of "quick filters", users can eliminate informational and warning items from the screen and concentrate on viewing only the errors reflected on each of the EV tabs.
I didn't bother reading the instructions, but it took me about 30 seconds to figure out how to do this
and most of you are more intelligent than I am. And...there's always the opportunity to read the directions.
I think it's worth a look, if you find the time.
