anyone use amarok? If you do, and you have a custom keyboard where there are special buttons to skip to the next track and such. How do you force Amarok to use them? Every time I try to program Amarok to use them, it doesn't recognize the key. Anyone else with an idea?

Here is the keyboard I am using: http://hypermicrosystems.trustpass.alibaba...RD_7005598.html

Hey Yano
Well what environment are you using? I know that KDE has trouble with multimedia keyboards, however Gnome apps such as rythmbox should work.

Here try this:

I actually don't use that keyboard and music player anymore. I still use Ubuntu though! I actually use a standard plug in keyboard with Exaile as my music player. Works great for me. :flowers:

I'm actually use Gnome. :trumpet:

I used to use Amarok, but recently switched to using Sonata with MPD backend, which updates your library into a database, and works online, but I haven't tried it that way so far. It's a bit tricky to setup, but once done, my keyboard worked well with it.
