i started off with ares v. 1.9.1 and downloaded v. 2.0.9. i installed that latest verison but it wasnt connecting ot the internet so i uninstalled it and re-installed the old version. however, near the end of installation, i received this error:

Service " Ares Chatroom server" failed to install with error: System error. Code: 1072.
The specified service has been marked for deletion

i pressed OK, and the installation finished but now Ares will not open at all. i tried many times but nothing. i tried uninstalling and re-installing many times and it still wouldnt open. i googled the error code 1072 and found nothing relevant at all. what can i do to resolve this issue??

All I can offer is to uninstall everything "Ares", Then download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. Check any box that refers to Ares and run the utility. Download the program again to the Desktop. Then reboot to safemode and install from there and see if that works
