I bought this game about 1 month ago, and apparently, for it to be played, the user must have administrative rights. I gave no user on my computer rights except myself, but I would like to give certain users the right to play the game.

I've looked through the Tweak UI for an answer, but am not sure if it is in there or not. Is there possibly a patch for it?

Greatly appreciated for any suggestions.

What operating system are you using?

If you're using vista, you might want to try and right click the install file, and hit "Run as administrator"

Vista is stupid like that....

If you've got XP, I don't know what to say right now.

Do you have any antivirus program that could be interfering? I doubt that would be the problem, but its the only thing.

Are you the only (administrator) account on the computer? Check your user panel and see...

I have the Norton Internet Security. But I would not be sure if it is the one that interferes. How can you check?

Yes, I am the only person with Administrative Rights. Every other account (only 2) are "Limited" accounts.

I screenshot the image that comes up, when attempting to run the game via a "Limited" account.

Note: I have over 200GB of free space, so that is not the issue.

You can set a limit on how much space an account has on XP. It might be set to low for CoD4?

Sorry?

I would not have a clue how much CoD4 has been limited too. Where can this be found?

Also note: I installed the game through my account, is it possible that I would need to install it through the other accounts also?
