Help!! I overloaded (over 2GB) my Outlook 2000 pst file. I ran Microsoft's 2GB152.exe file as instructed which truncated the file to under 2GB. then ran scanpst.exe. It goes thru 7 of the 8 cycles then generates a message that it encountered an error and no changes were made to the file. I'm running on Windows XP. Outlook is up and running with a new pst file, but I'd like to recover the old data as well. I know I should have been backing the pst file up (but wasn't) . I've found a number of softwares for restoring the file - all around $100. Are there any freewares you are aware of?
