Hello all,

I am trying to launch a website and I am using Front Page 2003. The provider I am considering supports Front Page extensions and php. Now I know there is no user freindly php setup in Front Page but I was wondering if I insert it in my code will it still run on the server or it wont because I created the page in Front Page? I think that it will, and if that is the case would it still work reguardless if I put it into a layer so I could postion it on the page where I wanted it useing absoulte postioning? I think it will work but I would like to here some feedback.

I can't answer your question exactly, but what I would do is make a very simple page using several PHP includes, say 200 pixels square divs with a bit of text inside and load it on a server to see how it displays. This, if it works, is likely to give you a consistent outcome rather than wrestle with a combination of FP Extensions and PHP which I understand can create illogical outcomes.
