I am looking for some free software that will backup my selected data, compress it and then burn that file to CD-R when it is scheduled to run. Does anyone know of such software? Please let me know.

Check out the Freeware Replacements For Common Commercial Apps topic, under the File/Folder Utilities heading, at the bottom of Post #1.
You might find something, there.

Sorry, but I'm only familiar with Cobian.

We'll have to wait and see if anyone else chimes in, with other suggestions.
