I reinstalled windows xp media center 2005 after installing a new hard drive.
After doing so, the information balloons in the taskbar doesn't appear, just get popping sound. For instance, when using the safely remove hardware, I don't get the balloon stating it's safe to remove. Only hear the popping sound. When resting the cursor over an icon, I get the name of the program and right clicking brings up the menu. But, I can't get the information balloon. I read a tip to log off and log back on to fix it but it didn't work. Any suggestions? |
