while i'm waiting for my mac to arrive i thought about i'm not going to have enough USB ports, three on the back two on the keyboard, well i've come up to this:

5xUSB Ports total

1xUSB for Keyboard
1xUSB for Mouse
1xUSB for Canon Pixma iP4300
1xUSB for CanoScan Lide 25
1xUSB for Tobisha 1GB Flash Drive (won't live stuck in constantly just so its there is a port when i need it don't want to be pulling cords in and out)
1xUSB for iPod

6xUSB Ports

SO i thought about one of those USB Hubs probably a 4 Port.

And come up with this:

Keyboard to iMac 1XUSB
Mouse into Keyboard 1xUSB
iPod to iMac with Dock (when i get the dock, i have the iPod) 1xUSB
4 Port USB Hub to iMac - which the Printer and Scanner share (i don't use both together nor do i use them all that much) and also my flash drive. Would leave me a spare port in the keyboard and on the USB hub.

my question would that be ok?

the day has come, my imac has arrived. yippee. i'll post in what i think of it when i get to use it a bit.

I have booted it up and set up the account part. i like what i saw. One thing so far is the mouse, its weird, but like anything, i'll get used to it. It shuts down very quick almost an instant.
