I cannot connect to the internet on one of my computer. (I'm using another computer right now). No error messages pop up. My modem signals that it is fine. Nothing wrong with my ISP because my computer works. I'm a bit tech-savvy and when I check my network connection status, something weird happens. In the support tab- connection status frame (i think that's what it is called), its all blank.

So it is like this-
Address Type:
IP Address:
Subnet Mask:
Default Gateway:

When normally it is like this-
Address Type:Assigned by DHCP
IP Address: 192.168.1.3
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.

no malware infections.
What I think is it is a winsock corruption but no sure how to determine it(That's what my modem's technical support said). If it is, what should I do?
