I have set up Vista Home Prem. to backup my files onto a external HDD. It preformed this function flawlessly. My question is if I delete a file on my computer and it does a back up, will it remove that file from the backup HDD or is this program only a "one way" street and will simply keep adding files and altering files but never removing.

If that is the case are there any free backup utilities you recommend? Because I download a lot of movies but don't need those backed up and the Vista Backup Center does not let you choose which folders so my external HDD fills up quite fast.

Thanks in advance

I think the best free backup solution, hands down, is DriveImageXML.
You can find more about it here:

Just my two cents
