So, something is definitly wrong with my heat sensor. It reads 102C all the time even when its nice and cold!

So... is thier anyway to turn off the automatic shutdown when its "overheating" ?

There should be a setting in the bios if its a custom built computer. I don't know if a boughten one would let you have that feature, worrying that people might turn it off and burn out their computer. Are you positive its not really overheating?

Absolutely positive. Its a Compaq Presario R3000. I don't see anything in the bios for that. Is their any way I can use software to modify that?
