Hi,

Can anyone tell me what to look for in a wireless router for a home network?

This is for 2 or 3 PCs, the max distance between 2 PCs should be no more than 60'-70', 100' extreem max.

I am more interested in performance than cost, but as reasonable as possible.

Thanks.

Hi Johnz414,

I prefer the Linksys routers myself. I do computer repairs and from my experience the Linksys wireless routers have been more reliable and easier for people to set up themselves. We keep 4 computers connected to ours, 2 wired and 2 wireless at the other end of the house. I did get the Speedbooster type and it works great for us.

I feel the price is reasonable also. Sure there are better, but this has worked great for me and several others I have suggested it too.

This is the regular Wireless G:

Hope this was helpful.
