Hi,

Now that I have my brand spanking wonderful new PC dream machine I am trying to figure out what to do with the old clunker. I thought that it would be nice to set it up as a second PC in my bedroom as part of a Home Network.

However, I live in a one bedroom apartment that only has one phone line into it that I use for my DSL line and it happens to be in the living room.

So, I was thinking that a wireless router may do the trick for me.

And sense many people on here have already done this I was hoping to take advantage of your experience and ask anyone for their advice on purchasing a wireless router so that I can hook up both PCs even if they are in different rooms.

Anyone? Thanks.

Hello,

I would recommend a netgear router myself, (thats just my opinion) I have used them before and had no real problems with them. http://www.google.co.uk/products?hl=en&...=1&ie=UTF-8 is a list of products and prices.

You will need a wireless card to finish the set up, I would opt for a USB adaptor mainly for ease of use.
Regards,

Alan.
