I have a 2wire DSL wireless modem which is provided by the ISP. Ok, next... i connect my D-link 524 wireless router to the Ethernet port of the 2wire modem, then i place the linksys WRT54G wireless router to the Ethernet port of the D-link 524 router. Does my D-link or linksys router have a wider wireless signal? How do i connect my router(linksys first or D-link)??

Your manuals for the routers would have the specs for each of the routers. Try looking there.
I am not following your description, do you have a wireless modem and two wireless routers, a wireless modem and a router.... ??

Ok, so the next question is do you really need two routers and a modem? I only ask because sometimes getting two routers to work together is very difficult. With three wireless connections, you then have three connections that need to be secured, which is not a huge deal in and of itself, as long as you remember which one it is that you are trying to connect through. I can't realy answer this question without understanding what your network is like.
