Vista's 'shrink Volume' - Partition = Death

New Member Group: Members Posts: 6 Joined: 11-March 08 Member No.: 195,732	Ok so I used Vista's Shrink Volume tool and upon rebooting, my computer hangs at the startup screen and does not budge. Even if you try to go into setup or selecting boot device. It absolutely does not want to go anywhere. I've been looking up for solutions and I think it may be that i formatted the unallocated space to ntfs file system and primary partition boot or something like that? :S Vista Home 6, 32-bit edition I'm not sure if there's anyway I can go back. You shouldn't make any changes to your system, while your HJT log is posted, as that could change the results of the posted log, making it difficult to properly clean your system. At this point, the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.
