I would be grateful for any advice with a problem on the shared contacts folder on our Outlook 2002 / Exchange 2003 system. The original shared contacts folder was accidentally moved to a personal folder when someone tried to copy it. I was unable to move it back, probably as they did not have the correct permission to do this. However, I did successfully restore it from our back-up tape, and ensured everyone's Outlook pointed to the new folder (deleting any references to the old folder, same name) and that it was also marked as an e-mail address book. Everything looked fine - we could see the addresses and create/edit etc in the folder. However, for some reason we cannot search within the folder! We have over 1700 contact cards, but when you try to search for a known item the search finishes far too quickly and tellls you there are no results. All the permissions seem to be correct, so I cannot see what could be happening. Does anyone have any ideas? Many thanks Sorrow |
