Every time I google on something, a drop-down list appears under the Google search box showing everything I've ever visited in the past. This search box history feature is a nuisanace. Not only that, but if a computer is shared, someone else can see what has been visited.

When I posted earlier today, I got the Google Search Box confused with the IE address bar. I edit to read Google search box. Apologies.

Thanks for any info.

Try this:

Click on the Capital 'G' next to 'Google' -> Go to Manage -> Features -> Search Box Settings -> Untick Suggest Popular Searches & Suggest Searches from my search history -> OK -> OK
