hello
i have set up another computer running win 98 on a friends network but cannot get a internet connection to it
my friends network has 3 computers on it already all running win xp. 2 are wireless connections and one is wired.
i have a d-link dwl 520+ card in the win 98 computer and it appears to be noticing it but the signal strength bar on the bottom right of the computer says "no connect" when i click on it ittakes me to a screen that has headings such as
d-link air plus
link info
configuration
encryption
site survey
about

it appears i need to enter some information in here?
problem is im not sure how and what

Do you know if they have the wireless security settings enabled? If so how is it set up. If it is WEP key, you need to put the code into your wireless card settings for it to connect.
