Can't Connect To Server Using Rdp Vista to Widnows 2003 Server

Hello all. I am having an issue connecting remotely to several servers. Weekly I remotely log in and check out some servers and with my XP machine I had no issues at all. With my Vista Ultimate I have issues with about half of the servers. I put in the IP and get to the log in screen, so far so good, but when I hit OK to log in trouble begins. It basically tries to log in and 'Freezes' and tells me it looses connection. If I sit there long enough the desktop might pop up but more often then not the only thing that does pop up is a little box telling me to disconnect. Any ideas?

Hi, I doubt if it is a rdp problem more so a connection glitch, try pinging the server from a PC thats having problems ping -t to see if it drops any packets. To view stats hold down ctrl-break.

It could be that the Vista protocols (IPv6 in particular) aren't compatible with the hardware that the servers use. I'd suggest:
1) Disable the DHCP Broadcast Flag by using the instructions here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/928233
2) Disable IPv6 in the properties of the network connection
3) Disable the IPHelper service in services.msc

AFAIK the Windows Meeting Space requires IPv6 to work - so if you use that you won't have it available if you disable the stuff that I mentioned above.
