The first contest is the HP Magic Giveaway, which is underway as of November 28th. More information can be found at this topic, which will be updated very soon with further information.

The second contests, is for the chance to win two Seagate FreeAgent external hard drives. More information about this contest can be found here.

Hi everyone!

I'm a little late introducing myself as I got sidetracked in the charming Ms. Scarlett's post, but now I'll try to do it the right way:
I've been using, and abusing, computers for a long time but still manage to suprise myself with the depth of my ignorance on so many factors. dry.gif
My main interests are doing image manipulations and spending far too long on the internet. whistling.gif
This site came across as a very friendly and diverse community and hopefully we can help fill in the gaps in one another's knowledge to get people out of problems.

See you in the forums thumbup.gif

As complex as using a computer is, no one has expertise or experience in every area of endeavour. For that reason, our international membership relies on each other for help with new problems or for answers to questions.
Welcome to BC!

Well icon_hello.gif again Rimmer You got it. That is what Bleeping Computer is all about. Helping each other out. What one does not know, someone else may.

As you have put it. "Filling in the gaps."

Oh BTW, It is true we can all have a little fun while tackling the crazed world of computing. w00t.gif
