Hi Guys,

I would like to announce the availability of COMODO Firewall Pro 3.0.22.327 BETA with Threatcast feature.

This BETA release is intended for beta testers who would like to join the testing of the new feature called Threatcast.

Threatcast is a new, community based alert/popup management system to give statistics about the events based on community feebback.

Please check the attachment for an example TC enabled popup alert.

Download location:
32 bit edition only -
http://download.comodo.com/cfp/download/se...P_Vista_x32.exe

Cheers,
Egemen

QUOTE
the code base for this is same as the latest version of CPF. the only addition is the way the alerts are shown and the way it communicates with the central servers for stats. The only beta aspect of this is the threatcast side of it.. its pretty safe bet smile.gif

LOOKING GOOD COMODO!

Josh.

A reminder here is in order.
Beta software is provided for public testing and comments. Members should be aware that Beta software may contain bugs, be incomplete, and have performance and functionality problems. Under no circumstances should Members use or rely on Beta releases for mission-critical needs, especially computer security.
Regards,
John

It is best to wait until it is out of the BETA phase.

Indeed it is best to wait until its out of beta.

However I'm expecting great things from this release because the previous release is very impressive.

When you lose someone you loved very much you feel this big empty space and think, 'If I had known this was coming I would have done things differently.' These are the feelings I wanted to arouse in the players with Aerith's death relatively early in the game. Feelings of reality and not Hollywood." - Yoshinori Kitase

There will be much more cool and funky stuff added to this Threat Cast Feature! So yes... Wait till out of BETA :-)

Threat Cast is the starting point of a great new innovation!

While I usually don't like to beta test, I think I'll try this one on an older computer that just had a reformat. That way if there are bugs and so, nothing too serious happens.
Great find Josho, thanks icon_thumb.gif
Really random note, feel free to ignore this: Why is the emoticon blue and white for me? Looks fine in the reply box...
