under services.msc, protexisLicensing does not start up...it says starting and continues to say that..and u cannot manual start it either?
help anyone?

From Google, I learn the ProtexisLicensing service has something to do with Corel Painter, which is required at start up to vaildate your copy of Painter.

I have been able to find out more about the file (PSIService.exe) on BleepingComputer: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/P....exe-16772.html
