I installed Spybot S&D 1.5.2 and followed the installation directions carefully. It will SCAN my system and the TeaTimer works fine.

During the installation a separate window pops up giving assistance for running the program. One of the "Suggestions" is to do an UPDATE and I do click on that the main page of S&D opens and I click on "UPDATE" and (according to instructions I should get a second page opening) I do not get any search of update or anything. It does nothing. Even if I RUN the probram and click UPDATES it does not proceed to checking for an update.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it does not seem to help me at all. Does anyone have any experience with this problem? Thanks

How to Update with Updater

If you encounter any error messages while downloading the updates, manually download them from here.

Thank you, quietman7, for the fast reply.

I have followed that "updater" procedure before and I just tried it again. When I click on UPDATE or SEARCH for UPDATES nothing happens. It does not do one thing. It just sits there.

I did download the manual file link you gave and it did run and I applied it to the file.

But I am unable to click or UPDATE or the other one and get it to go look for an update.
