PC is 3weeks old, running vista home 32bit, PC used to boot up within the space of a minute, now it seems to hang on the first 'page' for about 1min 40sec's (yes ive timed it lol) before continuing loading up fully, everything seems to be running ok elsewhere, nothing new installed previous to the problem starting etc... however the keyboard stopped working the same day it started to hang.
Now the strange bit, ive just reinstalled vista due these two issues, with it being a new PC id just created a backup disk so thought i might aswell, now the keyboard seems to be working as normal but it still hangs on the first screen.
The screen is the first one you get after pressing the power button, all black with white writing, the only thing that shows is something about phoenix technology and then lists my processor, later after its "unfroze" it lists other devices installed as usual and then will load into windows
Why the problems still there after reinstalling vista baffles me so any help apprciated guys and gals!
If none of that makes sense just let me know and ill try to explain.
(P.S sorry if this is in the wrong place i could see any better place to post it)
