Evening all,

I have a Linksys WRT54G router that (just recently) started losing its settings when I power off my computer, modem and peripherals. I then have to go into setup and re-establish DNS servers addresses and IP addresses in order to get back into Internet.

What did I change? Knew you'd ask. I updated the firmware on the router. I know, I know, I know...so you don't have to say it...why did I $%^& with something that was working perfectly well? 'Cause I'm stupid sometimes and I still believe that new is better and faster. You'd think after 12 years with IBM, 8 years with Amdahl, and 9 years with EMC, I'd know better, but obviously I don't.

ANYWAY..... Anybody got any ideas or insight? (other than going back to old firmware....not an option I found out)

Thank you (and isn't this a great site!?)
