Anyone else had problems with MS updates? I was originally on automatic updates but found that more and more were failing to be downloaded, eventually only about 10% were getting through. I switched to manual and found that maybe 50% were getting downloaded.

I believe this is a known problem. Do you feel that Vista SP1 may solve this?

yes and no. more so of a no. For me, it has always been an internet connection issue. Is your machine connected wirelessly to a modem/router? small hiccups in the wireless connection will cause WU to drop out. I would also try doing a few at a time, usually the critical first.
